Originally from Brazil and now based in Spain, André Luís, professionally known as André Kiabo, is a professional guitarist with over 10 years of experience performing and recording with artists and bands across Brazil.

His musical journey began in childhood through the church. At 12, he received his first acoustic guitar from his parents, and at 15, he switched to electric guitar and began studying at GTR Instituto de Música in Brasília.

Between 2013 and 2018, André Kiabo studied at the Brasília School of Music (EMB), one of Latin America’s leading music schools, known for welcoming students from around the world interested in studying Brazilian music. There, he studied harmony and improvisation within the worlds of Jazz and Brazilian Music, developing a musical foundation strongly influenced by both genres.

In 2015, André Kiabo performed at Festival Promessas, broadcast by Rede Globo, Brazil’s largest television network. This experience had a strong impact on his career and marked the beginning of a new professional chapter, leading him to work with several Brazilian artists and as a studio session guitarist.

Alongside his work as a live and studio guitarist, André develops his own instrumental music, combining elements of Rock, contemporary Jazz and Bossa Nova.
